Director of Operations – PhotonIC Corp.

Dr Marco Romagnoli will serve as Director of Operations for PhotonIC the commercial arm of APIC Corporation. Dr. Romagnoli’s new duties will run in conjunction with his position as a Visiting Scientist at MIT. Dr. Romagnoli can be reached via Email: Romagnoli@photonic-corp.com.

A native of Rome, Italy, Dr Romagnoli is known for his cutting edge optical innovations and designs for Italy’s premier multinational technology company Pirelli & C. SpA - first as Director of Advanced Research then as Chief Scientist, founder and Director of Optical Services for Pirelli Labs. “Since my early research days working at IBM in San Jose, California in the early 1980’s, I saw the extraordinary future of lightwave optical design in the commercial photonics field and PhotonIC is the perfect opportunity for me to help guide the science to its fullest market potential,” says Dr. Romagnoli.
